Andrew Matuch
President, LexisNexis Reed Tech and Intellectual Property Solutions
Andrew Matuch is the President of the Intellectual Property, Regulatory and Life Sciences Solutions segments of LexisNexis Legal & Professional (“LNLP”), which provide unrivaled data analytics and workflow products, research tools and content management solutions for government agencies, the intellectual property market and the life sciences industry.
Prior to his current role, Andrew was Chief Strategy Officer for RELX, the parent company of LNLP. There, he developed the overall strategic plan for RELX, worked with business areas across RELX to refine their strategies and operating plans, and led centers of excellence in Pricing, Customer Analytics, Lean Product Development and Innovation. Andrew joined RELX in 2012 as EVP Global Strategy and Business Development for LNLP, where he helped develop the legal analytics expansion strategy.
Earlier in his career, Andrew was a Partner and Co-Leader of the Global TMT Practice at OC&C Strategy Consultants, supporting the information industry with growth strategies, M&A advisory, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, sales and marketing optimization, and pricing.
Andrew holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Williams College. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys squash, reading, and learning to be the best dad and husband he can be.
Michael Langford
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Langford is the Chief Financial Officer for LexisNexis Reed Tech responsible for leading the Accounting, Finance Planning and Analysis, Contract Administration and Site of office services organization. With over 27 years of experience specializing in Life Science, multinational, finance leadership roles, Mike has acquired a diverse background of financial, commercial operations and business development expertise that has enabled him to provide financial leadership across functions and markets.
Throughout his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb and ConvaTec, Mike has worked in both large multinational as well as small carve out/startup environments. He has successfully led numerous project teams that have yielded significant synergies, process improvement driving substantial revenue and profit growth. Mike has an MBA from Rider University and his BS in Finance from Fairfield University. He is a founding member, past President and an active board member of a nonprofit youth organization.
Ethan Eisner
President, LexisNexis Reed Tech
Ethan Eisner is the President of LexisNexis Reed Tech. Mr. Eisner’s career in the industry and with the company spans over 15 years. Prior to this role, he led the Strategy and the Global Commercial Markets business for Reed Tech, and the U.S. Corporate Legal & Compliance business of LexisNexis. He also led the LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions business, focused on serving corporate professionals in information, sales, marketing and procurement.
Prior to joining LexisNexis, Ethan served as Vice President, Marketing & Product Development for Worknowledge, a training solutions company he helped found. He has also worked as Vice President and General Manager for The Franklin Mint, running the eCommerce and catalog businesses, and as a Case Team Leader with strategy consulting firm Bain & Company, where he worked with the top management of clients to help them realize material competitive advantages to generate substantial, lasting financial impact.
Robert Hahn, Ph.D.
President, Government Solutions
Robert Hahn, Ph.D. is responsible for providing strategic direction in the government market and growing LexisNexis Reed Tech’s U.S. federal government and international patent office business segments. With more than 35 years of P&L and product management experience in the defense and civilian agency market sectors, Dr. Hahn focuses on government market requirements, advanced technology solutions, information technology security, and risk-management issues.
Dr. Hahn holds a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University, an M.B.A. in Management from Oklahoma City University, and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He currently serves on the Board of the 16th Infantry Regiment Association and leads the team that supports veterans with serious combat injuries.
Jessica Morel
Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Employee Experience
Jessica is the CMO of LexisNexis Intellectual Property & Head of Employee Experience for the LexisNexis Reed Tech division. She is responsible for leading a cohesive global marketing strategy and internal communications and engagement strategy for the business.
Before joining LexisNexis, she was Vice President of Global Marketing & Employee Experience at Oracle, where she led Oracle Data Cloud’s global marketing organization. She joined Oracle through its 2015 acquisition of Datalogix, where she created and grew the marketing function from its inception.
Earlier in her career, Jessica worked as an advertising agency executive at agencies such as Digitas, leading relationships with world-class brands, including Intercontinental Hotels Group, Volkswagen, and Proctor & Gamble. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University and resides outside Philadelphia with her husband and two boys.
Arshad Rahman
General Manager, Life Sciences
Arshad Rahman is the General Manager of Life Sciences at LexisNexis Reed Tech. Arshad is responsible for the strategy and growth of the business. He leads a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about creating value for our customers. Arshad has been with LexisNexis for almost 12 years. He has held various segment planning roles for corporate markets.
Prior to joining LexisNexis, Arshad was a management consultant at ZS Associates and Accenture. Arshad has an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He also graduated from the University of Virginia with an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Cindy Kennedy
Vice President, Operations
Cindy Kennedy has served as the Vice President of Operations at LexisNexis Reed Tech for nine years. Cindy oversees the Patent and Life Sciences operations, with emphasis on productivity, quality, process improvement and promotion of organizational values and cultures. Her career with Reed Tech spans over 40 years. Prior to her current role, she worked in various management positions with increasing responsibility. She has significant experience in production planning and people management.
Cindy led the transition from paper processing to electronic processing of USPTO applications and steered the implementation of significant statutory changes to USPTO business rules. Under her direction, the production teams process ~16,000 patent applications and patents on a weekly basis with a 99.999% accuracy rate while maintaining excellent high and low turnover. She received her B.S. in Education from West Chester University and has pursued graduate level courses at LaSalle University.
Michael Ford
Sr. Director, Human Resources
Michael Ford is the Sr. Director of Human Resources where he is responsible for overseeing, leading and directing the global HR function for the LexisNexis Reed Tech organization. Mike has been with Reed Tech for 20 years. He brings more than 30 years of both operational experience and human resources leadership to Reed Tech.
Prior to joining the Reed Tech team, Mike spent over 10 years with The National Drying Machinery Company (a leading OEM in the food and chemical processing industries) where he held a number of positions including VP of Human Resources. Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kutztown University. He is currently on the advisory board of the American Heritage Federal Credit Union.
Vidhu Goel
Director, Strategy & Business Development
Vidhu Goel is the Director of Strategy and Business Development at LexisNexis Reed Tech. Vidhu is responsible for Corporate and Business Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Alliances and Joint Ventures. Vidhu has been with Reed Tech for four years. Prior to that worked with RELX for six years in Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, and Product Development leadership positions. He has been instrumental in driving key acquisitions in U.S., Europe, China and India.
Prior to joining the RELX group, Vidhu worked for Baxter Health Corporation and AstraZeneca in senior management roles. Vidhu is a graduate in Strategic Management from Harvard University and has a B.S. degree from Lucknow University.
John DeMastri
Chief Technology Officer
John DeMastri is the Chief Technology Officer for LexisNexis Reed Tech. John’s career spans 15+ years in technology and technology leadership with a focus on democratizing access to data to leverage the latent value it contains. Most recently, John was SVP for Platforms and Analytics with Change Healthcare. In this role, he was responsible for a groundbreaking rights management system that enabled Change to more effectively leverage billions of healthcare records while respecting both contractual and regulatory rights, returning control of their use back to the patient. This work resulted in a patent filing, a recent AWS re:Invent presentation, and a significant advance in the security, quality, and availability of patient information for qualified uses.
Prior to this, John spent 12 years in fintech, notably nearly a decade as VP for Applications with Morningstar. In this role, John was responsible for helping the tech organization through an agile and a cloud transformation and supported the business’ adoption of design thinking processes. This experience helped shape John’s continued concern for the Voice of the Customer when designing and delivering complex systems.
John has an MS in Computer Science / AI from Northeastern University and a BS with honors in Computer Science from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
