Horsham, Penn. – April 26, 2016 – Reed Tech®, A LexisNexis® Company, announced today that Robert F. Hahn II, Ph.D. has joined the company as President, Government Solutions. In this newly created position, he will have responsibility for leading and growing the Company’s business with the federal government. This will include maintaining and growing the business with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as developing new business at other federal agencies. Dr. Hahn will also have primary responsibility for setting strategic direction in the government market and for executing on the strategy.
Dr. Hahn comes to Reed Tech with over 35 years of experience in the defense and civilian agency market sectors. Most recently he served at Serco Inc., where he was Vice President, Citizen and Defense Services. In this role, he had P&L responsibility for the business unit with more than 3,000 employees that provided business process outsourcing, personnel administration, logistics, and training services at locations in the U.S. and overseas. He is noted as a visionary thinker with strong expertise in long-term planning, advanced technology integration, and program management especially for security and risk management issues. He has overseen contracts for major defense and civilian government agency clients including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, and the U.S. Military.
Prior to Serco, Dr. Hahn worked at Pitney Bowes Inc. where he served in multiple roles including President, Pitney Bowes Government Solutions, and Vice President, Strategic Development, for the Federal Government market sector. He also served twenty-one years as an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army in a variety of command and staff positions, including as a member of the faculty at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Dr. Hahn holds a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University, as well as an M.B.A in Management from Oklahoma City University. He earned a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
